| Fiddle Camp, July 14-20, held on
the campus of Shawnigan Lake School, Vancouver Island, BC this summer. It
is part of the 2nd annual Pacific Institute of Piping and Celtic Performing
Arts School, which last year featured approximately 160 students from 6
states and 5 provinces, and a complete, interdisciplinary program of the
Celtic arts.
This year's school includes instruction for Celtic Cello, by Kathy Stacey.
She is in great company, as instructors of the various other disciplines
include a 2002 Juno nominee, a 2002 World Irish Dance Champion, and
numerous other Gold Medalists in Pipe Band skills and recording artists.
This event is not to be missed! A Concert of the School is open to the
public on Thursday,July 18 at Shawnigan on the rugby field. More details on
