| This William Harris Lee cello was specially made in 1992. It has had only one owner, who went to the Oberlin Conservatory and served as principal cellist in the Oberlin Chamber Orchestra. It has been played professionally in the Akron OH, Canton OH, Youngstown OH, Sioux City IA and other orchestras. The owner used the cello with her string quartet in a winning performance at the Carmel Chamber Music Competition. The cello has had a complete "overhaul" by the maker's studio and is in exceptional condition. The tone is rich and warm and the body of the instrument is particularly beautiful. This cello is an exceptional advanced student or professional instrument.
