| This cello has a warm, dark sound. It has been well loved and played over the years, and has some old cracks and worn seams that require periodic maintanence. Given some work, appraisers have told me it would be worth $5,000. Good for a serious student, this is the cello I played all through middle and high school. A good option for someone that is looking for the developed sound of an older instrument, or wants to stop renting and make an investment in a nice instrument!
